What is it about?

What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them… all at once?

Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

My Opinion: This book have a unique storyline, which I like. It revolve around the life of a high school student so some of the character is relatable and entertaining. However, I found it quite difficult to like this book at first but towards the end, I LOVE IT! I would recommend this book to my friends who love to read romance.

I hate it at first because the plot is kinda slow, the two main characters also doesn’t have any chemistry but halfway through it , I can see their chemistry evolved. I had fun reading it although it takes time because I jumped between another book because it can get a little boring.

“If love is like a possession, maybe my letter are like my exorcisms”

The ending is expected which is a turn off for me but still, it was a good read. Not much emotional depth for those who likes to cry or scream or mad because of a book (like me lol). Plus, this book will be on Netflix so wouldn’t it be cool to read it first!

Who will enjoy this book?

People who love chick flick and romance will love this book because well, it’s a romantic book.

Who will not enjoy this book?

People who hate cliché love story because this book is very expected. Apart from the letter parts, things will went like most love story you watch so if you read or watch a lot of it, it can get pretty boring.

Rating: I give this book 4/ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
